Getting Married at The Woodhouse Wollombi
Despite both being Malaysian, they decided they wanted a destination wedding and where prettier than the Hunter Valley?! They were thrilled when they discovered The Woodhouse Wollombi online, a one-of-a-kind Hunter Valley wedding destination bursting with personality and warmth. They soon relaised that The Woodhouse Wollombi is not your average venue; it’s a labour of love led by Gabrielle and Chris, a family devoted to creating unforgettable moments. Susian + Mark were impressed with all the ceremony locations but they decided to tie the know by the tranquil lake.
Meeting in Malaysia
When Malaysian couple Susian and Mark booked me for their Hunter Valley wedding at The Woodhouse Wollombi, much to their surprise, I suggested we hold one of our meetings in Kuala Lumpar to make things easy for them. I aim to please 😉
We met at one of their offices in Bangar South to talk all things weddings in between their other meetings. Their start-up Supahands which is at the forefront of AI, has just been named as one to watch by Asian Tatler and Forbes.
Wedding Glow
This isn’t the kind of glow you get from an expensive moisturiser. No, this glow comes from basking in her lover’s praise at this The Woodhouse Wollombi wedding.
Mark’s Vows
“My dear Susian,
You are my best friend, my colleague, my business partner, my inspiration and soon to be, my wife.
You make every day better and you make me better. You’ve always been my rock and have given me the strength and support to go after my dreams and passions.
I promise to share with you my time and my attention and to bring happiness, strength and so much fun to our relationship.
I promise to laugh with you in joy, to hold your hand in sorrow, to grow with you in love, and live with you in peace and hope, as long as we both shall live.
I vow not to be late for any of our appointments by more than 2.5 minutes, to keep you waiting.. like you already have, for 10 years till this day.
I promise to always respect your needs and to try to understand your feelings. I will be unselfish and trusting and will work for a happy life together.
I promise to do the laundry right, separate the lights and the darks, use the right detergent for the right materials, and hang them immediately so they don’t smell.
Most importantly, I want to be with you always just as you are. I choose you above all others to share my life in marriage. I love you for yourself, and I want you to become all that you can be.
I give you my hand to hold and my life to keep.
I love you.”
