Rainy days got me thinking about Hannah & Jake’s wedding which had to be moved inside the Valentine Bowling Club instead of on the grass overlooking the lake.
Ok, so it wasn’t how they planned it but Hannah took it all in her stride.
She didn’t worry about her hair going frizzy. She is one of the best hairdressers in Newie so you can be sure she knew what products to use @hannah_urbanrawwallsend
She didn’t stress about her ? getting ruined. She accepted that it was probably going to get mucky but that she’d have fun regardless.
She wasn’t anxious about the photos because ☔ photos always turn out cute.
It would be a shame to let the weather control your wedding. Chances are it’s not going to rain the whole day anyway. ?
So take a leaf out of Hannah’s book and just roll with the punches. You don’t want the worry to show on your face.
And remember, darker days actually lead to some of the best wedding images.
Plus, you can’t have a rainbow without the rain.
There is no rule that says you need a signing table. If you and your witnesses don’t mind leaning on each other’s backs, then let’s go for it. Hannah’s mum Anne & Jake’s Mum Tracy were up for a laugh. The signing can sometimes be the boring bit of the ceremony but as you can see, we had a riot bending the Mums over while trying to keep things classy! If we had that much fun early in the day, I can only imagine the shenanigans on the dancefloor later.
Sure isn’t that what it is all about?!
The most warm, honest, funny, calming, and detailed celebrant you’ll ever get. I feel so lucky to have had Julie as our celebrant at Valentine Bowling Club. Thank you so much Julie.
