WEDDING GLOW
This isn’t the kind of glow you get from an expensive moisturiser. No, this glow comes from basking in her lover’s praise at their Woodhouse Wollombi wedding.
“My dear Susian,
You are my best friend, my colleague, my business partner, my inspiration and soon to be, my wife.
You make every day better and you make me better. You’ve always been my rock and have given me the strength and support to go after my dreams and passions.
I promise to share with you my time and my attention and to bring happiness, strength and so much fun to our relationship.
I promise to laugh with you in joy, to hold your hand in sorrow, to grow with you in love, and live with you in peace and hope, as long as we both shall live.
I vow not to be late for any of our appointments by more than 2.5 minutes, to keep you waiting.. like you already have, for 10 years till this day.
I promise to always respect your needs and to try to understand your feelings. I will be unselfish and trusting and will work for a happy life together.
I promise to do the laundry right, separate the lights and the darks, use the right detergent for the right materials, and hang them immediately so they don’t smell.
Most importantly, I want to be with you always just as you are. I choose you above all others to share my life in marriage. I love you for yourself, and I want you to become all that you can be.
I give you my hand to hold and my life to keep.
I love you.”

It’s been relegated along with packed dance floors and grazing platters.
