Covid Wedding at Fernbank Farm
This photo of a wedding at Fernbank Farm pretty much sums up weddings in the last few years…..postponements, masks, limited guest numbers.
There has been so much stress and heartache for anyone planning a wedding. Covid has robbed couples of so much excitement.
We thought it would all be behind us by now. I’d hoped for a return to some sort of normalcy for my couples as most of them had become weary from wedding planning.
To be entering 2022 with more unpredictability is exhausting.
My couples have been talking to me about what will happen if they become close contacts before their wedding, or if some of their family or vendors get Covid. Being sensible and realistic is important.
What I will say is that it is easier to have a big wedding now than with previous restrictions, which is worth getting excited about.
The 4 square metre rule is gone
No limit on guest numbers
Dancing is allowed
It is recommended that food is consumed while seated
No masks outdoors
You might take comfort from knowing that I’ve married several couples this year already and afterward, ALL were happy with their decision to go ahead and told me they had wonderful celebrations.
Spring Wedding
There’s something so special about spring weddings, from the abundance of flowers in pastel colors to the warmer weather and longer days.
Roshelle & Isaac got married last September at the gorgeous Fernbank Farm at Wyong Creek just as the property’s manicured gardens were coming alive with flowers.
On top of that, Mimosa Floristry created the most stunning floral displays from the perfect springtime palette of soft pinks, purples, white, peaches, which made a huge statement.
Just when we thought the ceremony vibes couldn’t get any more romantic, Roshelle arrived on a horse-drawn carriage which just added to the fairytale nature of it all.
