The great thing about hiring a fancy car for your wedding is that you’ll feel like a million dollars when you arrive. That’s exactly how it was for Fiona arriving at Ben Ean Winery.
The bonus is that you know it’s going to be immaculate inside. Fiona is confidently bundling her beautiful dress into this pristine car knowing she won’t get any marks on it.
I have no idea what that’d be like. I am always in trouble with hubby for having a grubby car. What can I say, I am starving after a ceremony, which inevitably leads to a few crumbs!
At the Rehearsal, I often suggest that the bridesmaids either kiss, hug, first pump or high five the groom, rather than just slinking off to the side without so much as a glance. (Without instruction that’s what normally happens). Joanathan took my instructions to the next level when he did an ass bump!!!
Paper….Scissors……Rock
or is it Rock…….Paper………Scissors?
Tomato…..Tomato
Fiona & Jonathan worked it out between them to decide who was going to go first on the vows. Legends!
I know a lot of blokes wouldn’t be game. Jonathan’s execution was impeccable.
This beautiful confetti isn’t mine but that doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate it.
Just because I sell eco-confetti, doesn’t mean I pressure my couples to buy it. Being too ‘salesy’ just isn’t me. Of course, I do a little jump for joy when my couples place an order but I don’t take it personally when they don’t.
The most important thing is that as an industry we are intentionally encouraging our couples and each other to reduce plastic consumption where possible.
Newlyweds Fiona & Jon stopped mid-aisle on the way out to have another kiss. Why not?! When those just married feels take over, it’s the natural thing to do.
Tea ceremonies in Chinese weddings are common. The meaning of this ritual is to show respect and gratitude to the parents for all the years of love and care. It’s also meaningful in other ways as it’s a symbol of stability and fertility.
Traditionally, the tea ceremony for the groom’s family is usually done in the morning, while the ceremony for the bride is always done in the afternoon when the bride and groom have completed the bride’s home visit. Nowadays though, newlyweds often decide to have just one ceremony for both sides together.
If you choose to incorporate this tradition, we can include it during the wedding ceremony, or you can do it just afterward if you want like Fiona & Jon did.
I can be involved, or not. It’s your wedding, your way. We will find a way to make it all work. x
Could Fiona & Jonathan be any cuter?!
Don’t think I could get my husband to do this though, like, EVER. Maybe I could trick him by asking him to make a claw hand, and then quickly attach my fingers to make a heart shape.
Put your hands up if you are happy with your choice of celebrant.
I’ve got proof! I don’t do it for the thank yous, but boy, oh boy, does it feel good to know I’ve got happy customers. Handwritten love letters will never go out of fashion ♥️
Fiona & Jon chose a fab venue and an awesome team of creatives. The result was a spectacular day where they were able to sit back (literally on this swing), relax and let the day unfold. Most importantly they weren’t stressed. They weren’t rushing around. They were able to be their best selves and let their love shine through. Now that’s #weddinggoals
