Wallaringa Farm near Dungog in the Hunter is a real gem. As a celebrant, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing love stories unfold in many beautiful places, but there is something truly special about this place. It has a unique charm that’s hard to find elsewhere.
Owned by the lovely Jordana, her attention to detail is impeccable, and it shows in every inch of this beautiful space. The accommodation is more than just stylish; it’s a testament to Jordana’s taste and care.
Wallaringa Farm is private and has stunning views. It’s the perfect setting for an intimate elopement, where you can relax and soak in the beauty around you. Trust me, there’s no better place to start your marriage journey together than here.
Hannah + Stephen were the first ever couple to be married at Wallaringa Farm. There have been a few proposals and even a bride getting ready but this was a first for the venue- how bloody special!
“I love this love. This love is so real that it’s overwhelming. It’s the fairy tale they told us doesn’t exist. I love this love. I live for this love. I’ll never leave this love”.
When I heard Stephen include those words in his vows, it moved me to tears 😭 I realised I was part of something extraordinary.
Hannah and Stephen are generally quite private individuals, so I won’t delve into the specifics of their vows or the intricacies of their love story. However, I must emphasise that I had the privilege of witnessing two remarkable people deeply in love, making a simple yet profound commitment to one another 🩷
Eloping demands a considerable amount of courage. It necessitates prioritising your own needs above the opinions of others and being prepared to face criticism, potentially disappointing those close to you.
Eloping isn’t always the easiest path, but for many couples it is the only way that makes sense.
What do you do when your baby refuses to be with anyone else during your wedding ceremony? Not even for the vows or the rings? You simply go with it!
We had an array of toys 🧸 and snacks on hand, with a supportive aunt and uncle ready to distract her, but all she wanted was her mom. So, we adjusted our plans.
We intentionally delayed the ceremony to accommodate some breastfeeding time and paused whenever needed. While it wasn’t the exact ceremony Hannah and Stephen had envisioned, they didn’t let it bother them.
I’m confident these photos with their little one will turn out to be some of their faves 🩷 These candid and genuine moments with their baby, not only tell a unique story but will likely evoke a flood of warmth and nostalgia in the years to come.
Following the ceremony, their little one took a nap 💤, granting the couple a chance to roam the fields and capture some breath-taking portraits. See how much fun they had.
That is the essence of parenting I reckon– embracing the unexpected and finding joy in those precious snatched moments when your child is asleep.
It’s a beautiful reminder that flexibility and adaptability are essential qualities for parenthood, especially on your wedding day.
You just gotta make the most of every situation and appreciate whatever happens, even when things deviate from the plan.
Photographers all have their own unique style. Ell’s style is distinctive. Immediately recognisable to me for it’s DREAMY QUALITY ☁️ it has a certain softness and a touch of the otherworldly.
There is always so much movement: her photos are filled with life and energy. Whether it’s a candid shot of the couple in motion stepping off a boulder at the fire pit, the way she captures the cut of the dress, the sway of the bouquet ribbon in the wind, MOVEMENT is a central element of her storytelling.
It’s hard to describe in words but Ell’s photos capture the spontaneity of what happens as it unfolds.
I actually cried when she sent me this album of Hannah and Stephen’s Hunter Valley elopement. Not only did she capture all the special moments but she seemed to enhance them somehow: infuse them with an added layer of emotion and significance.
Ell’s talent lies in truly capturing the beautiful moments 📷 making them not just pictures but vivid and lasting memories.
Hannah & Stephen gave me this beautiful review after their wedding.
My husband and I could not of wished for a better celebrant to marry us! In October 2023, my husband and I eloped to Wallaringa Farm with our daughter and Julie was our celebrant. Julie made all the legalities of getting married seamless and stress-free. She took the time to get to know our little family and put so much care and detail into making our ceremony so intimate and personal.
The best thing about Julie is that she made the day so fun, cracking jokes with a big smile. My husband especially enjoyed her tradition of a shot of whiskey before the ceremony! Not only is Julie great at running a beautiful ceremony, she was also happy to help out with baby holding, flower fixing and helping the bride take off her shoes haha. We couldn’t recommend this lovely lady more!
