Proposal Story for Wedding at Hunter Valley Gardens
For their wedding in the Hunter Valley Gardens, Chris planned a romantic proposal for the couple’s 10-year anniversary. Unfortunately, he got a migraine and was too unwell to propose at the zoo.
He had a sleep in the arvo to try and shake it off. Afterward, he jumped into action with his not-too-shabby Plan B……to ask Sarah to marry him at the exact time: 10:45 pm that he’d asked her to be his girlfriend 10 years before.
They went out for dinner and then went back to their hotel room to watch a movie but Sarah couldn’t stay awake, so at 10:15 pm (close enough), he popped the question ⏲️
Sarah got emotional and welled up. She told me it was the easiest decision of her life to say yes. She went to bed beaming and full of love that night.

Anxious? ……I’ll be there to meet you, just like I did with Sarah so I can check in before the ceremony starts, and make sure you are ready. If needed, I’ll give you a little pep talk to psych you up or calm you down before you walk toward your number 1 fan.

“Going into planning a wedding we had no idea how difficult it would be to find a celebrant, we spoke to a dozen at expos which we didn’t click with and started to worry because the next expo was cutting it fine but how was a supposed to meet them otherwise without spending countless hours on zoom and also wasting their time.
