I turned up for Noelle & James’ wedding at 48 Watt St and my mouth hit the floor. I knew the couple had good taste. I figured the aesthetic was going to be sophisticated and modern but I had no idea how incredible the styling was going to be.
Turns out……they didn’t either!!
Noelle & James chose to have the LUCKY DIP package from The Wedding Designers which meant they put together a small Pinterest board with colour schemes and different set-up inspiration for the team, who then unravelled their vision and brought everything together into this cohesive theme.
How fun to have that extra element of surprise on your wedding day!
Their fab Neon sign ‘love you to the moon and back’ couldn’t have been more perfect as it’s a phrase James’ mum would often say.
It’s not really any surprise that this wedding was featured in Hello May.
HELPING HAND
I like arriving early to the ceremony to help out in whatever way is needed.
On this day the best man Dave needed some assistance pinning on his boutonniere.
I’m a celebrant with many talents.
I’m the master of tying ties too. No loopy loopy through the middle ones either. Proper windsors here!

More Newcastle Weddings, please!
Don’t get me wrong, I feel very lucky to have the Hunter Valley, Central Coast & Port Stephens venues within an hour’s drive. But if the vineyard or coastal aesthetic isn’t doing it for you, then consider a Newcastle location like James and Noelle. They got married at the unique 48 Watt St. Once all their guests had a cocktail in their hands, they hit the streets. There doesn’t have to be vines or a beach in the background for your couple shots to be beautiful.
Personally, I’m loving the urban chic vibes of these streetscapes.
