I’m always touched when couples take the time to write me a review…sometimes as soon as the day after the wedding! It’s always a bit of a leap of faith when you book a celebrant. You can’t know for sure until after the wedding if the celebrant will deliver!
I know when I’ve done a good job. I can feel it. I can tell by the faces of the guests who are crying happy tears during the ceremony, by the hug the couple gives me after the ceremony, by the thank yous I often get from the parents, by the questions about whether I’m a friend of the couple because I seem to know them so well. It feels good to exceed people’s expectations.
My love language is ‘words of affirmation’ so getting good reviews lights me up inside. xxSamuel Jacob Photography

” From the moment my husband and I met Julie we knew we needed her to be apart of what was going be the most important day of our lives.
We both knew what we were after and Julie ticked every box. She was bright, bubbly and funny. A real breath of fresh air and someone who genuinely wants to give couples a personalised service that encompasses who they are their relationship.
At every interaction Julie was so easy to deal with and extremely helpful in providing any direction with required. On the day, she was amazing. The service was everything we had hoped for and more. Through the questionnaires we completed and the face to face meetings, Julie nailed who we are as individuals and as a couple.
We can’t be more thankful for the amazing service.
If you’re looking for someone who will create a ceremony that truly captures who you are as couple, you can’t look any further than Julie Muir.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.”Magnus Agren Photography
” My husband and I could not have imagined a more perfect wedding ceremony thanks to the talent of our celebrant Julie. From the outset she was friendly and approachable and helped us create a tailored ceremony with guidance at every step that made the whole process stress-free. She is a talented writer so the ceremony she wrote for us needed minimal changes – even still she made it very clear she would be happy to make any changes for us, and even made a last minute change for us on the day. Several guests commented on how fantastic she was. I would highly recommend Julie to be part of your special day!”Stories with Mel Photography
” Julie is such a beautiful and talented celebrant!
We were so blown away after our first meeting with her on how professional and organised she was.
She made our ceremony so personal and special, we had SO many comments on how fun and engaging she was from so many different people – even the single males!
We can’t thank Julie enough for being our celebrant, she honestly is so amazing. Thank you xx “Little Black Bow Photography

“A HUGE love and hug filled Thank You to our amazing celebrant Julie! Our ceremony was formed over a short period of time but Julie gave us lots of ideas with how to incorporate traditional and modern aspects into what we described as a casual ceremony. She speaks so clearly and has a genuine love for what she does, she makes you just feel like she was made a celebrant solely for you! Her care and positive energy is such an asset to your day, and she compiles a beautifully tailored ceremony just for you. Couldn’t rate her highly enough, and will be telling everyone we know, so get in quick if your thinking about Mrs Muir!”Rope & Pulley Photography

” Thanks to Julie we had a sensational and beautiful ceremony that far exceeded anything we initially expected.
My partner and I didn’t want a traditional ceremony at all and we were so impressed with the ideas that Julie presented to meet our requirements. Julie helped us to navigate a fine line between the legal requirements of a wedding ceremony and the respect we wanted to demonstrate to our L&G friends and relatives. She crafted a beautiful ceremony that was unique to Adam and myself, drawing on the life we have lived together and the reasons we have to love each other.
I always thought the best part of a wedding was the dancing and I didn’t ever expect to end up loving our ceremony as much as I did – thanks to Julie! At all times she was caring, considerate and provided so much thought and insight. Incredibly professional and approachable, she was an absolutely positive experience from start to finish!”Dara Munnis Photography

“Highly recommend! Julie was just amazing! beyond dedication and patience. Our wedding was quite unconventional (verging on challenging!) both on venue and our general planning skills. And to add to it my husband and I and Julie all lived in separate countries! Organisational nightmare but Julie was always an email or phone call away to sooth our worries and lend her advice. After a very thought provoking and insightful questionnaire approach, she tailored 2 beautiful and very unique ceremonies for us which were spaced 3 days apart and located at different ends of the island of Ireland. She went over and above every expectation we ever had and made our wedding so special and filled with love. We love you Julie! Thank you!!”
My favourite part of the week is getting a thank you email or a review from a couple who I’ve married. I have a tonne more reviews on Facebook and Google if you want to read more. I don’t let them go to my head. If anything, it makes me want to be a better celebrant. It’s not just the positive feedback I’m interested in. I am always trying to figure out ways that I can go above and beyond for my couples.
Check out my blog. It’s full of awesome ceremony advice from someone who knows.
