This was an excellent expo. I met so many rad couples. If you are one of them, don't delay in getting a quote as I've had lots of enquiries and my diary is filling up fast.
Congrats to Alexandra Fowler for winning my Love is......competition.
I'm joining forces with an awesome team of vendors to give couples all the information they need to plan their wedding and chose the best suppliers.
The seminar will be jam packed with insider information so you feel prepared and ready when talking to wedding suppliers.
Thanks to everyone who came and said hello to me at the Expo. I look forward to marrying you all soon!
My confetti balloons from Palm and Pine Party store were a big hit.
My Love is....Competition had lots of entries that made me smile. The winner chosen at random was Love is.......Animals! Ashlie Bear received the prize of some Lucy Prior art.
I am an active member of the Hunter Young Professionals networking group who are always putting on great events. I am looking forward to this one led by Andrew Beattie, Partner at PKF and head of the Business Advisory Services team.
I'm told it will help me understand myself better and enable me to plan the future of my choosing! I have already smashed so many personal goals since starting my celebrancy business, so I'm up for anything that keeps me on track and aiming high, because there is nothing else I'd rather be doing.
I believe networking can be an important marketing tactic for businesses and in the right forum women can make meaningful and reciprocal connections that will help grow their business.
I am attending this event to hear the inspirational guest speakers, discover real connections, gain inspiration and promote my business.
I am keen to check out the venue too as I haven't done a wedding here yet.
Exciting times in Newcastle.
There will be an expert line up of presenters who will be sharing their tips, tricks and experience to help me better develop my business ideas and think innovatively.
Sounds bloody awesome!!
I will undertake my compulsory Ongoing Professional Development.
I always look forward to meeting and learning from other people in the same industry. It can be lonely working solo all the time.
I was selected to perform a Wedding as part of the 2017 Australian Celtic Festival line-up. I love a festival wedding!!
A competition was run to see who the lucky participants would be. The winners were Caitlin & Jason from Melbourne.
The couple were married within the circle of the Australian Standing Stones, in front of a large crowd and Channel 7 News.
The wedding was a mix of Irish, Scottish, Viking, Medieval and Pagan traditions. Sounds strange but it worked wonderfully.
I exhibited at The Wedding Fair in April: a well organised bridal fair designed to celebrate the wedding industry by showcasing businesses in the Central Coast region to local brides and grooms.
I had a great time styling my stand. How gorgeous are these confetti balloons from Party Shop Palm & Pine?!! They matched my branding perfectly. I'm in love. https://www.facebook.com/palmandpinepartyco/
The best part was meeting all the prospective brides and making lots of bookings!! Yah!
I am ridiculously excited to have been selected to be part of the Celebrants for Marriage Equality Float in this Year's Parade.
I've watched the parade many times with my friends from a balcony high up in Darlinghurst. This is a real bucket-list item to be actually parading in it.
I feel strongly that all couples regardless of gender should be able to marry if they want to. I am so proud to have this opportunity to advocate for equality in Australia.
I was part of the organising committee for this event for justice and equality.
We asked this public to come and sign petitions for the Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and for our local MPs in advance of the upcoming Senate debates.
